“It isn’t just helping clients with their property loss. It’s helping them recover from major damage to probably their single largest investment. People count on me to get them back into their home. They count on our expertise to get their business rebuilt and up and running as soon as possible. Those are my challenges.
“I’ve been in this business for over 25 years. My summer job during college was inventory, appraisals, and building estimates for a local adjusting firm. I learned from one of the best, a retired manager from General Adjustment Bureau.
“I tell people who’ve suffered a property loss, there’s no substitute for experience. There’s no learning curve for us when it comes to dealing with the complicated claims process. We’re experts and we’ll take the burden off their shoulders.
“It all comes down to this: I can get them into their homes or have their businesses up and running sooner than if they went it alone. I love it when my clients are fully recovered, their lives back in order. It’s truly a great feeling.”

“It seems that it was meant to be that I got into public adjusting.
When I was around 7 years old, my 5-year-old neighbor burned his
parents’ garage down playing with matches. My neighbors hired a
public adjuster who did such a good job for them, they decided to start a public adjusting firm themselves.
“My neighbors formed Public Adjusters Corporation in Albany and I ended up working for them from junior high through high school. I helped with stock losses in warehouses, clothing stores, and even a candy warehouse. (We really enjoyed counting all that candy!)
“I’ve gotten to know the insurance policies backward and forward. People don’t realize that’s it up to them to prove their loss. I approach the insurance company with a complete knowledge of the insurance contract. I know what to ask for and I know what to look for in the insurance policies.
“This puts my clients at a significant advantage over claimants who go it alone. And I work with a wonderful team of dedicated experts who can handle any claim thrown at them. My clients couldn’t ask for a better group of professionals to represent them after a major property loss.”
