Claims Solutions Assists Church After Surprise Tornado Rips Through Pensacola, Florida

October 29, 2007 Claim Solutions, a Utica based Public Adjusting firm has been retained by The Greater Little Rock Baptist Church following the recent tornado which surprised this Gulf Coast city in the Florida panhandle.

The F1 Category tornado packing winds of 150 mph ripped through the 13,000 square foot church twisting the structural roof system and drenching the building with six inches of rain which accompanied the storm. The church was completed only 9 years ago with its design inspired by Noah’s Arc. The tornado also destroyed the churches community daycare center and the religious education office building.

Claim Solutions President, Christopher Salatino stated, “This tornado has certainly surprised the city of Pensacola and the damages were reminiscent of Hurricane Ivan. The Greater Little Rock Baptist Church basically took a direct hit and sustained considerable damage for an FI tornado. It’s amazing that no one was seriously injured, especially the 25 children and staff which were in the daycare center during the storm. The Claim Solutions team has been on site since the day after the tornado and has begun assessing and documenting the damage as a result of this storm.” Salatino also states, “The Greater Little Rock Baptist Church parishioners along with their Pastor, Lonnie Wesley, are a strong and resilient family that are determined to recover from this loss and make it better than it was before.”
